  1. Hi Nicole:

We love you site -- we married in Nice in '65 and have been traveling Europe ever since. Check out our site www.lensluggerworld.com. Want to do reciprocal links? Nice site - easy to get around. What server?

  2. Thank you Bob, I would be happy to link our sites. Unfortunately your link does not work--maybe a typo? On the right side-bar there is HTML to add my button to your site.

  3. I certainly can empathize with you as to the frustration of the news reports. I'm Canadian, and while we get the odd little clip whenever a bout of rain hits, there seems to be a focused effort on Thailand.Let me be clear.Flooding is a devastating situation no matter where it occurs. But as people are asking me "How are your travel plans going"? When I explain the flash flooding, they're simply in disbelief!
I gave to the red cross immediately upon hearing the news. My feeling is that we need to get the news to every person who may help financially.
One final thing...I'm on the edge of my seat to hear updates...keep'em coming! Grazie
    ciao Trish

  4. Hi Nicole,
It is with much sadness we are responding to your request for help. My sister and I only became aware of the disaster yesterday. We had visited the Cinque Terre this past June, using Monterosso as our base town. You mentioned that volunteers needed work gloves, rubber gloves, thick socks, buckets, wheelbarrow wheels and broomsticks. Can you let me know what other items are needed along these lines. I am going to try and contact some suppliers here to see if they can donate items.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the beautiful people in Vernazza and Monterosso.

    Sincerely

    Cheryl and Sandra Odell

PS: We stayed at Hotel Margharita on Monterosso on Via Romo. Things don't look good for any of the businesses along that street. If you have any news on the hotel, could you please pass it along. thanks
